while silently mellowing the leopards…

Chapter I

I remember I stood there for a while, facing the bright window up ahead in front of their fabulous dungeon, benighted by a raging undertow below, patiently waiting to be lured into a world I’ve only heard of before.

Fabulousness was yet to be discovered.

In just an instant, all domineering sensations, once steering me through a self-secluded obsolete universe, were easily dissipated in the early autumnal thin air as they whispered me in, inviting me to capture the flawing color of my own vision, as a testimony of such a pleasant season.
And so, daringly gliding into a freshly unfolded vivid environment, a medium I once perceived as an ominous abyss arguing my own whimsical decency, any ever reasoned anathema, towards the use and purpose of colors, slipped through my frigid fingers, way down below, as they silently mellowed me into nothing but an abecedarian colorist, carefully displaying an implied message of brilliance.

Soon, the perpetuity of my own faith portrayed across the painted sky, as they gently wrapped their arms around my name, lead to an improbable conclusion for this fair weather scenery, that not only the deities above made it safely to eternal grace…

Nathan and a maverick interpretation...

Those were such jumbled days, when Nathan arrived all the way from NY, and destiny chosen for him a rather torn persona, shifting between certainty and a qualmish inner state, to interact with, just to satisfy our needs of fresh, intriguing material.

But this mission turned into the most appropriate one as it miraculously gathered all my thoughts together, indicating the path to follow towards that fuzzed goal – the image itself. And, maybe for of my recent indecision, I visualized him differently, stripped of a usual posing attitude as a way of contrasting the ordinary fashionable idiosyncrasy. While confidently leaving aside the usual digital approach, this new found visual sense allowed us to explore a confined raw strength, astonishingly disclosing, in an artificially created slender space, a lyrical anachronism for those expecting nothing more than a comfortable common result.

This was but a personal survey of a limned amorphous shape, merely an attempt to redraw its contour, to visually transliterate an inner state and not a way of defying expectations, for in life you are occasionally presented with such opportunity of being ethically ingenious by detachedly presenting your own interpretation on a subject. I embraced such circumstance, with my essence jovially bouncing inside a lethargic body, allowing my subconscious to float towards an artistic truth.

And with the very first step of this plausible journey, the copious clouds above fainted in a gradual manner, and while every dark, afeard thought fell onto an eager redemptional ground, still images valiantly rose to be silently admired by those loudly stating their contempt.

recalling Jordan...

And while the sun gleefully illuminates the atmosphere, dissipating the springlike confusion into nourishing shreds gently absorbed by an eager dusty ground, my thoughts giddily run back to a session that took place somewhere in the stymied past.

As rolling pastures unfold before our eyes at dawn, when the morose night vanishes, these images, once stashed away as a pile of bugaboos, find their way to prominence while I sum up the recalled info on probably the calmest session so far. It happened on that kind of a day when the constant graceful rain becomes your only friend, converting it in a self-sufficient event, since the designated stylist chickened out one day before - last time I try to organize anything with a stylist of Marangoni, that’s a promise!

But the grim spell was to be soon cast away as we lively surfed on uttered reflections which ultimately allowed us to explore cultural differences between Europe and US. Ambling on a flashover, through depicted topics, from the wide open spaces of Montana to the mioritic landscape, we soon found ourselves sliding down into reality in search of an outcome of our encounter.

The photographs, as a result, where archived in our collective memory as recognition of the fact that under a dimmed aloof sun, remote entities still find a way to casually interact, learning from each other, evolving, discovering and understanding whatever surrounds them, regardless of any drawback which may occur.

After all of this…who would have thought I’d end up seeing “A river runs through it”…
